This film pulled from a lot of different source material because the company itself had reached a moment that was larger than one product release. SamCart had history, customer proof, internal ambition, and a growing sense of what it wanted to become. The challenge was taking all of that and shaping it into one cohesive piece that could help people feel the arc of the company, not just hear about it.

What mattered in the work
The film blended interviews, past material, original footage, narration, and new visual treatment into something that felt more like a brand thesis than a promo. It was designed for a key company moment, and the job was to make the business feel more coherent to the people already inside it as well as the people looking at where it was headed. I led the project from the top down, which meant the real work was editorial. What belongs in a film like this? What creates momentum? What gives it enough ambition without turning it into self-mythology?

I like this piece because it shows a different kind of leadership. Not launch energy. Not customer proof. More of a synthesis job. Taking a company with multiple narratives in motion and shaping them into one film with a clear center of gravity. That kind of work matters when a company starts thinking bigger about itself.
