Circle | Product launch film

Circle App Builder

A branded app changes the way a business is perceived.

That was the core idea behind this launch.

For Circle Plus customers, App Builder was not just about shipping something to the App Store. It was about legitimacy, proximity, and brand presence. The difference between asking members to visit a platform and putting your brand directly on their home screen is bigger than it sounds. One feels rented. The other feels owned.

The film leaned into that shift: moving the story from app functionality to business legitimacy.

The challenge with the film was that the product itself could easily be explained in technical terms. Custom mobile app. No code. Faster launch. All true, none memorable. The stronger angle was what it meant for the customer. A community business that suddenly looked and felt like a real software product.

The writing focused on the customer’s emotional upgrade: from rented platform presence to a branded product surface they could own.

I led the piece end to end, shaping the script and the visual direction around that emotional upgrade. Not just convenience, but status. Not just app functionality, but a business that now had a more serious surface area in the world.

This is how I approach enterprise and premium-tier launches. The work was not to explain every capability. It was to find the line that made the product click immediately: your brand, in their pocket, without building a mobile team from scratch.
