Jordan P. Anderson · Launch films

Launch videos for AI
and software startups.

I shape the story, build the crew, and take the film through production and post. For founders and marketing teams in San Francisco, New York City, and across the US.

Two ways to work together

The film, or the shoot.

01

A complete launch video

You have a product and a launch date. I lead the concept and script, prepare the production, and bring the film through editing and delivery.

We agree the main film, graphics, social versions, review rounds, and responsibilities in the quote.

Talk through your launch
02

Production only

You have the creative and an editor, either in-house or through your agency. I handle the crew, equipment, locations, schedule, and shoot management.

For startup teams and studios. Direction can be included; the footage handoff is agreed before the shoot.

See how production works

From brief to delivery

A clear story.
A production that holds together.

  1. Find the point.

Who is watching, what changes for them, and what should they do next? That becomes the spine of the script.

  2. Make the plan.

Lock the scope, script, product demonstrations, crew, location, and approval schedule. Prepare your founder before the camera rolls.

  3. Run the shoot.

Give the people on camera room to perform. Keep the crew moving and protect the footage the edit actually needs.

  4. Finish the film.

Editing, graphics, sound, color, and the agreed versions. Review rounds and final delivery are part of the plan from the start.

Scope & budget

Built around your launch.

The story, crew, shoot days, locations, product capture, and post-production shape the budget. From a founder film to a multi-day launch campaign, we build the scope around what you need to put into the world.

Bring the product, launch date, and a working brief to a call for a tailored quote. If you're exploring a short film or shoot, the calculator gives you an initial planning budget. Keynotes and larger campaigns need a conversation about the full scope.

Before you book

Straight answers.

Can you handle the whole launch video?

Yes. We scope the concept, script, founder preparation, shoot, editing, graphics, and final versions together. I lead the work and bring in the right specialists. Your quote names the deliverables, approval points, and revision rounds before production starts.

What if we already have part of the work covered?

I can join for the stages you need. When your creative and post-production are already covered, book production only. I can build the crew, organize equipment and locations, and run the shoot. We agree the footage, audio, and handoff your editor needs before the day.

Do you work with AI startups?

Yes. The brief starts with what the product lets a customer do. We decide what the founder needs to explain, what the real product can demonstrate, and where graphics help. Product claims and demonstrations go through your team for approval.

How much does a launch video cost?

The scope depends on the story, shoot days, locations, product capture, graphics, and final versions. Book a call to build a quote around your launch. Price your shoot gives you an initial planning budget for a short film or shoot; keynotes, multi-day productions, and larger campaigns are scoped on the call.

How far ahead should we book?

Two to four weeks is a useful starting point for booking a shoot. A complete film also needs time for the brief, script, product capture, approvals, and post. Bring the launch date to the first call and we will build the schedule around the actual work. Rush availability and costs are confirmed before you commit.

Can you shoot in San Francisco or New York?

Yes. I produce shoots in both markets with local crews. I am based outside Washington, DC. We agree whether I direct on set or produce remotely with a local lead, and include any travel in the scope.

Tell me what you're launching

Bring the product.
Bring the date.

A rough brief is enough to start. Share the audience, where the film will run, the launch date, and a budget range.
