Should we write social media copy like sales copy?

I’ve been playing around more and more with Linkedin for sharing content.
And I thought to myself…
“Does it make more sense to quote the article or use the title in the caption?”
Or…
“Would it be better if I told you the outcomes you’d receive by reading this article?”
The Title (and nothing else)
The Contents of the Article
The Goal and The Promise
Which was more compelling?
You tell me.
