When You Don't Have a Mentor, here's what you can do.
You can't always bug your friends about your business ideas...
If you’re reading this but not subscribed to Jordan’s Daily Email for Photographers, it’s time to join the hundreds of photographers who HATE marketing but love reading these emails!
Hi everyone! 👋
The problem I’d like to illuminate is that of running a solo business, and NOT having a mentor - let alone someone to talk about the business on a daily basis.
We all have friends and loved ones that we can share our thoughts, but not every single day. It’s exhausting and one-sided.
Here’s what you can do:
Writing is a conversation with yourself.
If you can write it down, extract it from your mind, you’re able to see your ideas in clear articulation. Make a pros and cons list, make an Eisenhower matrix, or make a simple list of ideas.
However your writing takes form, use it first to organize the swirl that is your mind.
Many of you associate writing for your business as blogging.
If it turns into a blog post, great! But this wasn’t your first intention.
See clearly, my friends.
Cheers,
Jordan P. Anderson
