Train Your Audience 🏋️♀️
Hi photographers 👋,
It’s All Conditioning
Having recently uploaded 10 YouTube videos simultaneously last week, and watching my subscribers drop, I am reminded by this thought - set the expectation and “train your audience.”
I may be the weird one in society that sees nearly all interactions - spousal, work, office, friendships, family - as a series of conditional training.
If you do something good and those around you reward you for it, then you’ll keep doing that behavior.
You’ve been a bad boy…
Do something that is unexpected or against your training, then you’ll either receive no reward or receive a punishment.
By uploading 10 YouTube videos or not consistently sending you emails, I receive either no reward or receive punishment.
There has to be an expectation or a series of training when introducing a new behavior - especially working with your clients and audience.
This is your customer experience, your work culture, your communication style - all unique, and must have an onboarding process to avoid friction and frustration.
Set an expectation. Be consistent. Get consistently rewarded.
Speaking Of Failures, I’ll be live tonight at 9pm EST!
