No More Excuses about Your Videos
I don't want to hear another word about production value, lighting or sound quality.
By everyone being forced to work remotely and online, we have seen a flood of webcam videos, crappy internet connections, and Zoom call after Zoom call. And it's not just your office, huge studios and networks have gone mobile. Celebrities and entrepreneurs alike have switched to webcams and iPhone video cameras.
I made a video back in 2015 claiming that video quality doesn't matter anymore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50i5YBtw7kA
And I believe this rings true even more today. People don't care that they're favorite show is now being shot on a crappy webcam, they just care about the show itself.
Before all of this, there was this was the one huge excuse with businesses. They feared that because their video or photo content wasn't 'polished that it would be hated by their audience. Audiences don't care about the quality - they care about what the video does for them.
Are you entertaining them or educating them? You are? Great. Then the quality or number of pixels shouldn't matter.
