Howdy folks! đ
Do you ever feel like your client is taking forever to get back to you?
They seemed really interested.
The conversation was going great, they loved the work and the price you offered.
And thenâŠnothing.
I know Iâm using this wrongâŠ
But I call this âMind Over Matter.â
âIf the client doesnât mind, then it didnât matter.â
Actions speak louder than words. If youâre on the phone with a client, and they seem eager to get started, but turnaround and donât do anything, then it wasnât that important of an issue.
Find clients that are desperate
âDesperateâ might be poor wording, but a while back I talked about the Cobb Value Curve. The more a client is in crisis, the more they are willing to pay to solve the problem. Maybe a ânuclear eventâ is a bit too high stress for you, so you move down the curve to find a client that needs your help (rather than later).
Stop waiting around for clients to return your calls.
Their problem was never really a problem at all.
Cheers,
Jordan P. Anderson
