Howdy folks! 👋
Do you ever feel like your client is taking forever to get back to you?
They seemed really interested.
The conversation was going great, they loved the work and the price you offered.
And then…nothing.
I know I’m using this wrong…
But I call this “Mind Over Matter.”
“If the client doesn’t mind, then it didn’t matter.”
Actions speak louder than words. If you’re on the phone with a client, and they seem eager to get started, but turnaround and don’t do anything, then it wasn’t that important of an issue.
Find clients that are desperate
“Desperate” might be poor wording, but a while back I talked about the Cobb Value Curve. The more a client is in crisis, the more they are willing to pay to solve the problem. Maybe a “nuclear event” is a bit too high stress for you, so you move down the curve to find a client that needs your help (rather than later).
Stop waiting around for clients to return your calls.
Their problem was never really a problem at all.
Cheers,
Jordan P. Anderson
