Howdy folks! 👋
Customer Persona
In some circles also known as a user profile. We are aimed at personifying and humanizing our customer with a high amount of accuracy.
After Brand Attributes, this is the second pillar our building our CORE Strategy. A customer takes many forms but when a soloist like yourself is starting from scratch it helps to look at four customer archetypes.
Here’s the first one:
You in The Past (Historical)
Your past self focuses on who you were as a person 1, 2, 5 years ago. Focus on all the problems and painpoints you experienced as a young photographer.
What were your painpoints?
What were your dreams?
Why did you have those dreams and painpoints?
Our past self is often the go-to when trying to select an ideal client. We are most familiar with them because of our lived experience, and we overcame those painpoints. I'm a filmmaker and I know what it's like to be a young, inexperienced filmmaker.
You have seen the path, you have taken the wrong paths, so you can guide your clients away from those dead ends.
Cheers,
Jordan P. Anderson
