How to Save Yourself from Being an Order-Taker
"...and did you want fries with that?"
I'll be frank and save you some time reading - being an order-taker to your client sucks.

As creative entrepreneurs, the current projects we find ourselves in are built around a relationship where the client has ALL of the power, and we simply push buttons and pull levers.

Creatives are confused when the client seems like such a control freak.
"They want to tell me exactly what to do and how to do it?! They must think I'm a moron!"

The first step is to acknowledge that you have placed yourself in the vendor position. You are a commodity. Easily replaceable and easily bargained for.
It's time to move from the Vendor to the Expert.
