Keep Your Audience From Getting Bored with these Two Mindsets
Don't just focus on one sole topic.

Hi everyone! 👋
Here’s what you can do:
Create 4-5 Main Pillars or Categories for Your Content
You want to create a universe or catalog or system for your audience to browse around. If your potential reader doesn’t like the one topic, then they have 4 other categories that might spark their interest.
There are two ways to look at this mindset: A temple or a solar system.
Jenna Kutcher’s “JK5” Method is more like an ancient Greek temple. It has several pillars holding the structure of the blog. No one pillar bears the entire load. 🏛️
Then there’s Jonathan Stark’s idea of the content solar system. There’s one bright burning topic at the center and several smaller topics that orbit. 🌌
“If your potential reader doesn’t like the one topic, then they have 4 other categories that might spark their interest.”
Once you’ve decided on your categories, you can publish them as a cycle or pattern. Or if you’re struggling to come up with some content for one topic, then you have 4 other topics to riff on.
Cheers,
Jordan P. Anderson
