Hi everyone! ✨
Over the last few weeks, I’ve really gotten into making Instagram carousels, and I wanted to quickly share my process.
Early Mistakes: My Workflow
I was at first using Photoshop and creating ten artboards side-by-side. I found that this gave me too much fine control. The same reason I don’t use Mailchimp for these emails - if you give me all the controls in the world, then I will try to use them, tweak them, and guess what?
Nothing will get published.
Use Projector.com or Adobe Spark
I recently found Projector.com this week, and it is so much better than Adobe Spark.
The main reason being you don’t need an Adobe subscription.
The second reason is that you can convert your post into whichever format you’re publishing to.
Start out with an Instagram Post and the convert it to TikTok format.
Click.
Done.
Here are some screenshots from my recent IG Post:
View your carousel like a Keynote presentation.
Add grids to keep your designs looking crisp.
Stop trying to fit your text - let the app do the work for you.
Export all slides together as PNG, PDF or MP4 videos.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Jordan P. Anderson
