And remember, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. The right software for you will depend on your specific needs and goals. So take your time, do your research, and trust your instincts. You'll find the perfect software for you!

Adobe Premiere Pro

As a YouTuber and content creator, I've had the chance to use a lot of different video editing software over the years. But hands down, my favorite is Adobe Premiere Pro.

The sheer range of features and tools that Premiere Pro offers is just incredible. Whether you're a beginner looking to put together your first few videos, or a seasoned pro working on a big project, Premiere Pro has everything you need. From basic cutting and splicing, to advanced color correction and compositing, Premiere Pro has you covered.

But perhaps the best thing about Premiere Pro is the ecosystem of third-party plug-ins and tools that are available. This means that you can really tailor the software to your specific needs and workflows, and get even more out of it.

Of course, no piece of software is perfect, and Premiere Pro is no exception. It can definitely be complex and overwhelming for beginners, and you do need to pay a subscription to access all of the features. But in my opinion, the pros far outweigh the cons.

Overall, I highly recommend Adobe Premiere Pro to anyone looking for a powerful, professional-grade video editing software. It's definitely worth the investment.

Final Cut Pro

As a professional video editor, I've had the chance to use a wide range of software over the years. And I have to say, I am always impressed with Final Cut Pro’s latest updates.

The interface is clean, intuitive, and makes it easy to quickly put together high-quality edits. The performance is top-notch, and the integration with other Apple products is seamless. Plus, the ecosystem of third-party plug-ins and tools is robust, allowing for even more customization and flexibility.

But perhaps the best thing about Final Cut Pro is the user-friendly design. It's clear that the developers of this software have a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of video editors, and they have created a tool that is intuitive and easy to use.

Here’s the bad news…It is only available on Apple devices, which can be limiting for some users. And you do need to pay a subscription to access all of the features. But in my opinion, these are minor drawbacks when compared to the overall quality and value of the software.

Final Cut Pro is great for Apple users in need of a professional-grade video editing solution. Can’t complain.

Davinci Resolve

Pro: Powerful color grading tools. Wide range of advanced features and tools. Free to use, with a paid option for additional features.

Con: Can be complex and overwhelming for beginners. Not as widely used in the film and television industry as some other options.

I've been using Davinci Resolve for a few years now, and I have to say, I'm still not sold on it.

Don't get me wrong, it has some impressive features, particularly when it comes to color grading. But overall, the software just feels clunky and difficult to use. The interface is cluttered and not very intuitive, and there are a lot of features that just seem like overkill for the average user.

Of course it’s used for color grading, but it's not as widely used as an editing software in the film and television industry as some other options, which makes me skeptical of its long-term viability. All in all, I'm still on the fence about Davinci Resolve.

CapCut

Pro: Easy to use and accessible for users of all skill levels. Free to use. Mobile-based, allowing for on-the-go editing.

Con: Limited in terms of advanced features and tools compared to other options. Relatively new and untested compared to more established options.

CapCut on Desktop has me really excited. It's a mobile-based video editing app, which makes it perfect for on-the-go editing. Plus, it's free to use, which is always a huge plus in my book.

The interface is clean and intuitive, and it's really easy to quickly put together edits that look professional and polished. It doesn't have all of the advanced features of some other software, but for the average user, it has everything you need. You can instantly apply green screen effects like on TikTok.

I've only been using CapCut for a few months, and so far, I'm really impressed. I'm excited to see where the app goes from here, and I'm hopeful that the developers will continue to add more advanced features and tools in the future. I would definitely recommend giving CapCut a try.
