Agile Branding: Why "Good Enough" is Better
Sitting down to swipe through Pinterest or Instagram or Behance to find inspiration for your brand can be a great start...however.
This is where many people get a little indecisive and get stuck. Some will work with a designer, hand them over piles of folders of saved bookmarked pages. The brain dump is overwhelming and it's clear that you're not exactly sure what your brand should look like.
"I'll know it when I see it," you say.
This is where many business owners get caught up. They debate on what the logo should be, what the font should be - They spin their wheels forever.
This attempt to “get everything right” results in the rest of the brand failing to launch. Your style is going to evolve. Much like a tech startup, go with the minimum viable product, get it out into the market and change as you go along. Get feedback and make edits as needed.
Make fast decisions, commit to something and move on.
