Howdy folks! 👋
I might be doing something very stupid.
But!
We’re going to make it a learning experience along the way at least.
Diving into Webflow
That’s right.
We’re building a new site!
I’m at the point where I’ve outgrown Squarespace. I’ll submit my complaints in a later email - but for now here’s the plan.
2-Week Website Sprint
Over the next two weeks, I’ll conduct and document a website sprint. I’ll start from the ground-level with strategy and making sure my goals are aligned with the website. Yup, being my own client.
Normally, sprints are bound to 5 days - I’m giving myself some breathing room of two weeks.
What’s a Sprint (let alone a website sprint)?
A sprint is a concentrated spurt of team coordination and collaboration around a single problem for a set amount of time. The single problem in my case being my website.
Week one will be dedicated to strategy, copywriting, and wire framing.
Week two is all about content creation, design, and launching.

Documenting It All
If I don’t crack under the pressure, I will be recording this whole journey from start to finish. This way, you can follow along, or use this as a reference for your next website build-out.
The showrunner in me has laid out this documentary series into chapters:
The Problem/Current State
Site Inspiration
Strategy
Customer Journey
Copywriting
Wireframe
Content Creation
Design
Using Webflow
Launch
Follow the journey on YouTube!
Cheers,
