5 TikTok Myths That are Killing Your Progess...
Let's expose some content creation myths.
1. You don't need to niche down. You need to become the niche.
Niche-ing down allows you to hide behind your niche, which means you're never gonna truly show up authentically online, and no one will actually care about you.
2. You don't want to go viral.
Take it from me. Going viral will trap you in the topic of the video that you went viral for. So you don't want to go viral until you are absolutely certain that the content you're making serves your long-term.
3. Strategy is like 10% of success on TikTok.
The other 90% is attributed to your ability to make good content in its rawest most naked form. So no text, no editing, no hashtags. If you always rely on strategy and hacking the algorithm to go viral, then you become dependent on the algorithm.
4. TikTok SEO is not gonna make you famous.
Stop thinking about it. The reason TikTok is so effective is because it gives you this feeling of chance and fate when you come across the perfect video on your for you page that was handpicked just for you by the algorithm. So if someone finds you through search, you might get some views, but you won't be relevant.
5. You don't need a hook.
There are literally people that sell lists of hooks. Why? Half the time I cut out my hooks from my videos. If you want proof, just go back to the beginning of this one. The energy you bring out is much more important than what you're saying in your video. That's why you'll never have the perfect script. You'll never have the perfect hook unless you bring emotion towards what you're saying. No one will listen.
