The goal is to read 100 books this year...
Get From the Day - Not Through It…
Jim Rohn says, “I don’t get through the day, I get FROM the day.”
And starting today, I’m adopting this philosophy for books.
No longer do I want to get through a book to say that I did. I want to get things FROM a book. What value, what resources can I extract from this book?
I promise this year that I will leave books read at 67%, move on, and not give a damn.
I got the gist, I extracted the value. No more. No less.
Read for Action Here & Now
Also, I promise to read books that are actionable and relevant to that point in my life.
I’ve read over 50 books last year, and many books were great but not relevant.
Wanna know how to create lucrative multi-million dollar real estate deals and buy car washes that support your cash flow? A fantastic read until you’re ready to act and realize you need $80,000 cash up-front to get your foot in the door. Great read.
Not actionable at this point in life.
