The story you tell yourself will play out right before your eyes. In the past, I’ve discussed how knowing all the tactics and step-by-step is great, but not the entire pie chart.
In the early stages of your business, your limiting beliefs take the form of…
“I can’t do this. I’m not qualified to be teaching this. There’s no money in this market.”
All stories you tell yourself, and it can take years to break this script.
But what about the folks who have broken the script? They feel self-assured and do have belief in their abilities, limiting belief.
Their new limiting belief takes a new form.
It starts to sound like…
“I am the only one who can do this. No one else understands this the way I do. I can’t waste my time bringing others up to speed.”
Many creators like us fail to scale their businesses because they won’t let anyone else in. I’m here to tell you that an outside perspective can feel truly magical. There are millions of creators of different skills that are light years ahead of you. You have gaps in your skills, your knowledge that they can help fill.
Imagine that you’re running a race, and I told you that your competition is already 10 miles ahead of you. Who would you bet on to win?
Learning a new skill is incredibly valuable, but we’ve already mastered one skill set.
Why not double down on that and let others provide backup?
Your limiting belief is a cinder block wall in the way of your success.
Bust through.
Cheers,
Jordan P. Anderson
