State of The Valley (Films)
Getting pumpoed for this episode.
We are 1 1/2 years into Valley Films and it's been going great! Valley Films is raising the bar and always striving for progress.
The VF Blog has been going strong with our 2 new writers. Shoutout to Nicole and Tony!
Sailing alone at VF. It's scary yet satisfying.
Where do I want to go with this?
I want to be a Cinematographer. Cinematography hits me on a profound level.
I know that filmmaking is a long term goal. You have to play it like a marathon, not a sprint!. Most dudes don't hit their prime until they're 40! I'm 22!!
I love Valley Films and I want to keep it going strong. If I were to move away, I will still rep the VF brand wherever I go.
I don't see my career path as linear, nor do I see anyone's. You ping left, ping right, ups, downs, pitfalls. You name it!
The Moment that you want to be a Filmmaker, you are a Filmmaker.

My Life Story (sort of)- https://goo.gl/U5b2Ja
I can remember picking up my family's video camera as a teenager and being enthralled that I could make an impact in someone's life. The filmmaking process is complex but at the heart of it simple: tell a compelling story.
What resonates the hardest is visual storytelling. The ability to create an emotion or convey an idea through an image is what drives my career as a filmmaker. My marathon mentality is focused on becoming the best cinematographer possible.
